hi all,am confused as to which airport from London to which in Norway to fly into for Kristiansund.any help please.thanks.
Kristiansund is a smallish town and a rather small airport. Trondheim is the closest main city with a major airport (maybe direct flights from London).
Ålesund 2-3 hours by car south also have flights from UK I think.
thank you for your replies,so where do we fly into from Stanstead?
then relative meet us and drive back to their home.
Which airline are you on ?
As far as I know both Norwegian and Ryanair use Stanstead. If you are going with Ryanair the two possible destinations (Haugesund - mid between Stavanger and Bergen on the west coast; or Sandefjord Lufthavn Torp - some 130 kms south of Oslo).
Norwegian has more options: Oslo (main airport - OSL); Stavanger (SVG); Bergen (BGO) and Trondheim (TRD).
wouldnt know which airline, was thinking british airways, but, looks like maybe not,not very happy to look at ryanair.
maybe it will be norwegian?
British Airways has Oslo (OSL) as their destination.
It would be very helpful if you could inform us where your relatives are going to pick you up, as well as other adequate information to be able to help you.
To begin with I also assumed that you had booked a flight, but now it appears that you are still searching.
i dont know where theyd pickup from, just know that
Kristiansund is their town.I guess the easiest closest airport, hopefully?
If your relatives live in Kristiansund (and have a car), you can also fly to Molde (50 min by car) or Ålesund.
Note that there is also a city called Kristiansand at the southern tip.
hi,relatives get a ferry from the UK over,so sdoes help with which town it is>?
Sorry, don't understand. What ferry?
