whitehouse hotel llandudno

has anyone stayed at the whitehouse llandudno since we did from 22nd october 2012 for five days we had a seaview room with twin beds ensuite complete with celing tiles missing jammed windows wires hanging from the ceiling by the door bath with panel kicked in dirty tiles surrounding the bath and a toilet outlet that was held together with some adhesive tape

the views were nice what we could see through the filth on the windows

did you have the "pleasure of staying here" we were told by travelstyle that they check all their hotels and the whitehouse was found to be perfectly satisfactory

Nobody seems interested in this place and they are allowed to give inferior service to the public. Just a big rip off. Also gives Llandudno a bad name.

There's no point complaining to Llandudno Town Council as there'll be nothing they can do, it's essentially just a community council with no real powers. Hotels are inspected by Conwy County Council for food hygiene and when last inspected the Whitehouse scored 3 out of 5 which is "satisfactory". You could try contacting the Llandudno Hospitality Association but again I doubt there's much they could do but they come up with some advice.

Just had a 3 day Monday to Thursday morning break at the White House. Ok, so its not the Ritz, the "ballroom" is a bit tired and the whole place could do with some TLC,. Our room was OK. A bit dated and the furniture was worn in places, but the beds were clean, the towels were good quality and there was plenty of hot water. The meals were set times and set menus, but were edible and the breakfasts were adequate. There was bingo and entertainment each night if you wanted in the ballroom. What do people want for under £80pp for 3 nights? The staff were friendly as were Jackie and Paul the owners. If you want posh nosh, you will get 2 nights for one person for that money. at some of the classier hotels further along.
