'Explosive Rock' Guy Fawkes event, Christchurch Park

There's a Guy Fawkes event with a difference in Christchurch Park on 6th November:

www.ipswichfireworks.co.uk/2010-programme/

It's a charity event and combines a magnificent firework display with rock music.

'The organisers are planning an exciting double bill, an ‘Explosive Rock Firework display’ with the display fired to everyone’s favourite rock anthems across the ages. If that is not enough, we have live on the BBC Radio Suffolk stage hosted by Nick Risby the No. 1 tribute, Rob Idol as Robbie Williams and the amazing tribute band – Take on Take That. Ipswich’s Christchurch Park is the ideal setting for the very best in firework displays. The events organisers hope that you will enjoy another of East Anglia’s most exciting pyrotechnic displays The musical fireworks costing £30,000 are designed and fired by the Shell Shock firework Company from Bramfield here in Suffolk. Shell Shock are renowned for their exciting and lively displays for clients all around the world....'

Pandandy, I think you may have misread '£9 cash entry to the park' as meaning you have to pay this as well as the fireworks ticket. In fact it's what you pay on the day if you haven't bought a ticket in advance.

Prices are £6 per adult if ticket bought in advance, £9 if bought on the day.

£4 for children if bought in advance, £6 on the day.

Well we just walked through the park and the preparations are coming along. the fireworks are all out and there are loads of rockets.

I recommend good foot ware as the grass is a bit slippy but I think a great night will be had by all!
