The Grand-Premier rooms

I am looking to book this hotel for my elderly mother and aunt. I would prefer the premier room option. Does this include the premier dining room? I have read in the reviews that there is a lift for premier room guests. How are premier customers identified ie when you enter the premier dining room do you have to show your room card?

I cannot answer your specific question, but did wonder if you had read the Grand Hotel reviews on this site. The hotel has had some problems in recent years, and I am not sure that it would be the best place to stay in for your mother and aunt.

Unfortunately you are right and it was not the right place for them. I had read the more recent reviews and thought that it was improving however this was not the case. The food was bad and my mum got an upset stomach after a lunch in the hotel which consisted of leftovers from the previous evening. They were on a coach trip and no-one on the coach would return.
