How much time at Highclere Castle?

If we make morning reservations and arrive when it opens at 10:30 on a weekday, can we tour Highclere Castle and the grounds (but not the Egyptian Exhibition) in two hours without hurrying? Thanks.

2 hours should just about cover it but if you want to take a break and have a cup of tea you may want to allow a little longer. If you want to visit the grounds you should add an extra 45mins to an hour.

How much time do we need to allow to tour Highclere Castle, the Gardens and the exhibition?

We went today, Sunday April 7th at 09.30 as it opened, we didn't pre-book tickets, we just bought them on the door (although I wouldn't risk this unless you live fairly close, of course). There were no queues, we visited the castle, Egyptian Exhibition and Grounds leisurely in about 3 hours. We even stopped for a coffee in this time. Obviously it wasn't busy (for some unknown reason as the weather was perfect) but I guess you may need longer if there are crowds. Half a day is probably enough unless you want to take a picnic to ave in the lovely grounds. Hope that helps?!
