Luton to central london

We are staying with friends in Luton for 2 weeks and want to go to london everyday for a week, we have checked out the travel pass but it only serves out to zone 6, has anyone have a suggestion of how to get to zone 6 the cheapest way by rail and is there a week pass that can be used to do this, we would want all hours, not off peak hours only. Thanks for any info....

It won't be cheap... but a weekly season ticket is probably your best bet:

The weekly travelcard for Luton to London (All zones) is £116.80 - valid at any time.

An equivalent one day travelcard is £33 (peak) or £20 (off peak) - but off peak restrictions on this route might limit your flexibility quite a lot.

How many is "we"? There may be savings using Groupsave if more than two.

You can't get a GROUPSAVE 3 or 4 on a weekely travel card as it is a season ticket.

You may buy the seven day Travelcard tickets at Luton station. They will be sold to you as paper tickets, not loaded on Oyster cards. Each person in your party will need to provide a passport size picture for the free National Rail Photocards needed to purchase and use those season tickets. The Photocards will be made for you at the rail station.

The fare for children ages five to 15 will be half that of the Adult rate tickets, so £58.40.

The ticket office at Luton station is open seven days a week.

The easy and affordable way is by First Capital Connect train from Luton Airport Parkway Station to St Pancras, London Bridge (45 minutes).
