Tintern Local Produce Market

For the 'foodie' travellers out there I can highly recommend Tintern Local Produce Market which is held every 4th Saturday of the month in the village hall just a few minutes stroll from Tintern Abbey. It has loads of top award winning food producers from across the region! When we went we stocked up for our holiday in a nearby holiday cottage. We feasted for two weeks on locally made welsh cheese, bread, wine, beer, pork, beef, honey, pickles, pies, cider, organic fruit & veg, even curry! It was a real surprise and well worth a visit, but take plenty of cash & a cool box!
