Wax works in Great Yarmouth

Does anyone know if the Tussaud Waxworks is still open?

I read it was closing. It is one of the funniest places I have been to and want to take a friend, I'll be gutted if it has closed!

If you do know either way, please let me know,!

Many thanks

Sue

Alas, it closed a few months ago.

It will be sorely missed.

Thanks for your reply, I thought it had closed.

I'm really sorry it's not there any more, it's one of those quirky places that made me cringe and laugh at the same time!

In fact, I don't think I've EVER laughed so much, I cried laughing all the way round. And the fact they weren't even deliberately made so awful makes it so much funnier!

Yes, it is a sad loss. Yarmouth will never be the same....

It's a loss - my now DH took me there on one of our first dates when we were students! There's still the joy that is Merrivale Model Village...

Sad news - likewise our family laughed so much - and talked about it for many years.

The staff were funnier than the waxworks!

Snails are still going strong! Daughter has gone on every ride at Disneyland Paris and still prefers the snails...

I went on them as a child, so did my children, when the snails leave Yarmouth then England will fall, I think I have the saying correct, (or was it ravens?) no, must be snails - there are no ravens in Yarmouth.
