Further to my post, Christopher Davy the owner came back to me immediately with his apologies given our experience and conducted a full investigation. Whilst my issue had been relayed to the Head Chef, there was then a glitch in their established process for dealing with this and Chris Davy was not aware of the issue.

I have received a full candid, no excuses, honest and comprehensive reply and explanation from Chris and a full refund, which was most appreciated.

He clearly demonstrated excellent customer focus in dealing with this and I have conveyed my thanks to him.
