has anyone rented a cottage called winyards and had a poor experience - untended garden/no bbq/ untended balcony
It's already listed on TA. Have you submitted a review?
still on-going dispute wondering if anyone has had a similar experience but not complianed - they will recognise the property if they have been there
I'd write a new topic with the property name in the title. You could try some serious Googling, you may pick up some reviews on other sites.
Writing a review on TA may be enough to encourage some others to do the same, confirming your concerns/compalints
review been submitted for 3 weeks and acknowledged as received and still not posted
Perhaps worth contacting TA to ask where it has got to. There's a Help Centre tab at the bottom of the page.
winyards now posted on trip advisor and adverse experiences are starting to come in - we have been accused of breaking things that were reported broken months before we rented the property! please help us with this and post it here as well as sending your experience to QualityinTourism@uk.g4s.com
TA had to email us for rental verification from the deposit receipt obviously no response from the agent
I saw the garden pictures Vera you could approach your local trading standards in your telephone book. If they think you have a case they may take it up on your behalf
trading standards is already on the horizon but need a response from owners first if possible. havent yet sent final formal complaint, (one went in while we were there), but then we found more and I have just discovered terms and conditions for 4 star rating. so letter to owner early next week, keeping in mind support and further info/proof received from fellow sufferers. health and safety already alerted to kettle problem. tourist england already involved, and we may very well try and involve press. thanks for your advice much appreciatedEdited: 13 October 2012, 15:44
owner still not responded, hasnt even picked up the latter - now waiting 3 weeks at the sorting office. trading standards now involved. agents not only obstructive and unhelpful, but appear to be economical with the truth re alleged damage
no care/concern by either party about the end user on which their business is based - more where they came from!Edited: 11 November 2012, 14:41
