long term visit to IOM

Hey,

Im coming to the Isle of man in March and staying for about 8 months, and looking for somewhere to say in Douglas for this time.

Preferably a cheapish aparentment, but still close to town.

I would need two double bedrooms, but everything else can be negotiated, anyone know of anything that could work?

Log on to www.iomonline.co.uk and check out the classifieds. If you are seeking work you must get a work permit.

For 8 months they'll need a visa regardless of whether they intend working or not

as long as they have a visa that allows them to be in the UK for that duration, they will be okay to be on the Isle of Man. As mentioned, for work they will need a Work Permit unless married to a Manx Worker etc.

"cheapish" is all relative! Accomodation on the IoM is generally expensive, especially for anything half decent. Outside of Douglas is better priced. As previously mentioned, try the IoM forums directly.

JUst noticed "coming in March" so probably already here!
