campervan trip

Hi, I am considering coming in my old campervan for our summer holiday. Are there many good sites? Are you allowed to simply park and stay anywhere on the Isle of Man? I have heard it has some stone circles, is that true? Does it have all shingle beaches, or any sand ones? I like views and history, is this the place for me? Thank you

I think if you are discreet and respectful and don't stay for more than one night, you might be ok to park up on the Island, if you are sensible about it. There are lots of stone circles some well known, others less so, some good info here themodernantiquarian.com/site/…links

Beautiful views and fantastic history, start at the Manx Museum in Douglas to give you a good insight to the Island's past. Have a fab stay!
