Next week - indoor attractions North Devon

We are staying between Ilfracombe and Barnstaple next week and (although I am praying its wrong) the weather forecast doesnt look brilliant.

As we were planning to spend most days on the beach, could anyone advise of any indoor attractions that are both reasonable cheap and cater for all ages

Any assistance would be most grateful

Well, hopefully the sun will shine (for the sake of all of us!!!), but if it doesn't you could try visiting places like:

Arlington Court is a National Trust property, with a somewhat unremarkable house and a very nice garden and carriage collection:

The Milky Way, an indoor and outdoor 'adventure park', with a small rollacoaster, dodgems, and the like:

In between Barnstaple and South Molton is the Mill Adventure Centre, with indoor climbing walls:

The Big Sheep is a farm park with indoor play area (beware the smutty Kiwis that present many of the shows, however, not great for little ones...):

There is some indoor shopping at Atlantic Village in Bideford, although avoid Barnstaple as the world and it's dog go here if it rains and it is hell on Earth!
