there are trains and/or buses from Belfast....I expect they'll lay on special services...Ward Park is only a 10mn walk from the train station..

translink.co.uk/Timetables/… - for regular trains...

Type "Ward Park, Castle Street, Bangor" into Google maps for street map

I'm also going to the festival, taking my 16yr old daughter and her friend.... we're thinking about just booking a hotel in belfast, would it be too expensive for a taxi to the festival? (from cathedral st in belfast)

This is probably the link Andrea is referring to.

£15 for a return train from belfast to bangor is a joke when an off peak return is £6!

I know this is a bit off the point, but is there seating in Ward Park or is it all standing? Because I'm getting really worried now as I only paid the guts of 50 for my Eminem ticket, but I'm seeing tickets priced at 80 - 90 now. So, why are some dearer than others?

Thanks in advance,

Random Em fan.
