what kind of beer is served at Smugglers Cove....I am travelling with beer drinkers......is it good....how does it compare to a Canadian beer.....also, its their rum good......? How long is the drive to Smugglers from the airport and can you arrange a private transfer?

they will serve Piton and Heinekin beers - both lagers, both very good. I prefer Ption.

Rum is excellent, several types produced on island - white rum, spice rum, regular brown rum, aged rum - all produced on island and very good. A Rum tour to the distillery is a tour of choice

A transfer from UVF airport - the main internationa airport, is about a 1.5 hour drive. You can arrange a private transfer either through the resort or separately. Also available is the helicopter transfer which goes from UVf airport to SLU airport in the north, takes about 10 minutes. Then you would beed a 25 minute transfer from SLU to Smugglers!

Can't compare the beers to Canadien Beers as there are a lot of options. Piton and Heinekin are Lager beers - most people seem to really like them.
