Looking for other native English speakers living in Arezzo

I'm from Australia, living in Arezzo for all of 2014, and seeking other English speakers who would enjoy socialising while speaking a mix of English and Italian (beginner standard Italian for me but having lessons and gradually improving). I'm here with my husband, who speaks Italian, in my late 40s, and my interests are bush walking, cycling, cooking, crochet and learning all about Arezzo and the Italian culture. Please respond if you are interested in getting together or if you know of a suitable group that is already in existence.

Hi, try posting also on http://www.slowtrav.com/italy/ more expats living in Italy are on there. Another forum for this kind of question is http://www.expatsinitaly.com/forum/active.

I hope this helps.

Another possibly useful site is http://tuscany.angloinfo.com/forum/ - though it doesn't look very active compared to the French Riviera one which I look at occasionally. But more so than the Liguria Angloinfo which is so quiet I never look.

Hi! My husband and I are living in Arezzo until 10/2015 and would enjoy meeting other english (and Italian) speakers. We are older than you (60 and 68) but would enjoy meeting for conversation and coffee (or conversation and a spritz). Let me know if you are still interested.

Hi Dale

I'm sorry to say we will be travelling down south in October so we won't be able to meet. You'll love Arezzo - it's a great place with lots of interesting things going on. Try to be here for the antique fair which takes place on the first Sunday of the month and be sure to have an aperitiv at our favourite bar, Costanti. All the best, Leonie

Please don't put personal email addresses or the very worst, your personal Tel number...you are inviting spam...I would delete these posts and send personal messages to the poster.
