To Caorle centre itself it is ~ 9km
This is because of the way you have to walk because of the River/Fiume water ways around Caorle. It is over 4km just to the bridge over the River/Fiume Livenza estuary to the sea. There is no way to cross the waterway around Caorle (no bridges) so you have to go all the way round almost to Madonna dell'Angelo; however there is a small ferry service between Porto Santa Margherita and Caorle (costs €1).
Not sure exactly but I think it goes from near the the end of Via Alvise Ca di Mosto (left hand side before the road turns just at the Marina entrance/exit) and just goes straight across to Via Livenza
There are also some buses.
Here you will find the Venice district timetables.
There are various services around Caorle (e.g. Linea 2,3,4a,4b,4c) however only currently the Winter timetables available (for some no service)
