No more direct flights, ryanair dont agree with fees at rimini airport

Your best bet now is, fly to Bologna, with easy jet, depart from london gatwick

Ryan air also fly to bologna but from london luton

Out of both carriers, easy jet look to be the cheapest

From bologna, it about 1 hr on the train to rimini, and while in bologna, why not spend the day there

I think it is absolutely ridiculous that you cannot fly direct from the U>K into Rimini Airport.

I have been to Cattolica few times and think it has to be one of the best places to go it has everything

that you could want. Yet Airlines will go to Turkey, Greece, lots of trouble spots, it does not make sense.

I am really disappointed, Some people say it is the Airport at Rimini who are charging too much, come

on I am sure you Airlines can afford it.

Totally agree with previous post. Cattolica is one of the loveliest holiday destinations you could hope to visit .

I used to visit every year and really do miss it.

@annamanchester

It's not a question of charging too much. The problem is that Rimini isn't an interesting destination, airliners have lot's of difficulty to sell the seats!

I simply cannot agree with the last post ycemann how can you possibly say that and what do you define as

interesting? airliners sell seats to greece, turkey, spain etc are they interesting? I dont think so. People in

Italy are so friendly and everywhere is so clean and not all Brits running around that is what appeals so much.,

Clearly if the routes were profitable airlines would fly there.
