Innsbruck to Cortina to Salzburg by Train

Is it possible to travel from Innsbruck to Cortina. And then Cortina to Salzburg? Does anyone know about how long each leg of the trip would be? I'll check the train schedules but if anyone has any experience with these routes, any information would be great. Thanks.

There is no railway line anywhere near Cortina d'Ampezzo.

Yes, it is doable, but huge and time-consuming detour.

The best to get from Innsbruck to Cortina is to take a train from Innsbruck to Toblach/Dobbiaco, where you catch the regional bus line 445 to Cortina.

Bus timetable Toblach-Cortina until 12 Dec. 2009

after 12 Dec. 2009:

Toblach Bhf. = Toblach Railway station

The railway timetable Innsbruck-Toblach after Dec. 12 has not been uploaded yet ,check: http://fahrplan.oebb.at/bin/query.exe/en

Thanks for the information. It looks like it might be a detour that is out of the question considering my time constraints. Thanks again.
