Beech costs

Hi I am visiting Forte Dei Marmi for the 1st time in June this year. After booking I heard that the beeches are very expensive to use. Can anyone advise on this. I thought it would be like Spain and cost 7 -10 euro. I am staying on Via Giorgini . thanks for any replys.

We spent a day at the beach in nearby Viareggio last July and it was 30 euro for two lounge chairs and an umbrella. We visited on a weekday and it was cheaper than a Saturday or Sunday.

Hi! Surely in Forte dei Marmi prices are much higher than in Spain and are like or higher than one that BooKat said! Daily prices are higher than those ones for a longer period.

Sometimes hotels have an agreement with a beach near to them, you can ask to your hotel.

Here there is the map of the beaches: http://www.bagnidelforte.it/stabilimenti.php , you can try to send them a mail. In general beaches with swimming-pool are more expensive, for exemple I have seen these beaches: http://www.bagnoamerica.it/index.html and http://www.bagnovasco.com/ that are near your hotel and that seem to me simpler than Others, you can conctat them.

There are also two council-run beaches, cheaper, one at the north limit (Spiaggia attrezzata di Ponente, prices for one week: 125€ until 16/6, then 170 €) and the other one at the south limit (Spiaggia attrezzata di Levante, nearer to your hotel: prices for one week: 135€ until 16/6, then 180€). Here the link: multiservizifortedeimarmi.it/spiagge_31_ITA.… . After the beach Ponente there is also a free beach. You can reach easily all those beaches by bike, that is the means of transport more convenient for going around the town (there are few free parking) and to the surrounding areas (e.g. pine forest La Versiliana).

Enjoy your trip!
