Beaches - Sandy or not ?

We are staying in Lerici and plan on walking between Lerici and Tellaro. I have heard there are beaches in between. We would like to use them for sunbathing etc hoping for fewer tourists. Are the beachy sandy or are they pebble ? Hoping for sandy beaches

Thank you Mike M, but I was referencing the links in #3 (my earlier post) and these directions for the walk.

Thanks Vagabonda, that corresponds to my info. The only difference is that at the gate of a house 'Ca Blade', 'the concrete road' (driveway) is CAI 469 leading to La Serra, and your link stays on CAI 3 to join the stairway (v.Andrea Doria) leading to Piazza Garibaldi.

As for walking on the Lerici-Tellaro asphalt road, I may have unreconciled psychological issues - for neither could I tolerate the stress of bicycling in Italy.

Thanks Mike M - Good that the links correspond!

I've walked Lerici-Tellaro many times without incident and much prefer the walk to the shuttle, but the shuttle is convenient.

This area is beautiful!
