Struggling to find accommodation, please help!

Hi Everyone

My Fiance and I are coming to Positano in October and want to stay in a hotel/b&b or villa that:

Is Central (No more than a ten minute walk to shops, restaurants etc)

Has a terrace with that amazing view!

& Costs no more than 800 euro for the week.

I have searched but can't seem to find anything that matches this criteria! So I thought id ask the experts :D

If anyone could recommend anywhere I'd be reaaally greatful!

Many thanks,

Clare

Try Casa Maresca. It has your requirements and might be within your budget in October.

Thanks Zerlina but its not available on those dates.

Could someone tell me where 'positano centre' actually is?? I have looked at accommodation that are all over the place and a lot of them say 10-15 mins walk to the centre even though they are in completely different locations. Please enlighten me!! I am so confused :S

Also, I am looking at a place at Via dei Coralli, 37, Positano, I can't find it on google maps could anyone tell me if this is a good location??

Many thanks!!

Have a look at Hotel Savoia, I was booked there last October fro 50 euro a night (single).. but had to cancel, but my friends stayed there, though I did pass it on a daytrip, very central and near to the Sita bus stop, here's the TA link

Try Albergo Montemare, has an amazing terrace restaurant. Not sure how much it is but it is in a good location and easy to find. The centre of Positano would probably be the waterfront where the ferries depart from, lots of shops, restaurants, bars, beach and the famous church.

I suggest you Villa La Tartana, siatuated down the beach, in the pedestrian area of the village, one minute's walk from the shops, restaurants and beach.

Thanks to everyone who responded to my post! I researched all of your suggestions and thankfully now I have booked a b&b (casa cosenza) which seems to be in a good location and within my budget!!

Can't wait to my trip! Thanks again
