Getting to Amalfi from Positano/ Free parking for scooters

Hi Guys,

Is there a bus going back and forth between Amalfi and Positano? If so, how often does it go (especially in the evenings)?

How much does it cost? Is the traffic generally reliable in and around Positano?

Also, what is your experience with scooters? Do they pay for parking or stand in and

around of every corner?

Warm regards,

Mi

There is no bus that goes back and forth except Positano to Praiano. You use SITA buses coming and going between Sorrento and Amalfi. These can be very crowded, and often full, so they don't stop. The service is roughly hourly during the day and into the evening. I have seen scooters tucked into every nook and cranny, and they get ridden into pedestrianised areas as well. There also ferries as well along the coast.
