Positano to Amalfi then on to Ravello (Villa Rufolo)

Hi

Could anyone please help, we plan to take an early boat to Positano from Sorrento spend some time there, then move onto Amalfi by boat if that is the best possible travel arrangements? How then can we reach Ravello and to Villa Rufolo??

We like to plan ahead as we will be visiting in July, if anyone could help us this would be very much appreciated. (What is the best websitet to get boat times etc.)

Thanks for your help!

There is a bus up to Ravello from Amalfi - if you don't see signs for it, just ask - all the buses are right by where the boat will drop you in the harbor.

Yes - everything is - the village is the size of a pea and entirely pedestrian only.

Only problem ferry from Sorrento to Amalfi, via Positano leaves at 10.30. Return ferry leaves Amalfi at 4.30 .

Ravello has two beautiful villas worthy of visit: Villa Rufolo (very close to the main square), and Villa Cimbrone (a 15-minute uphill walk at the farthest end of the village). There is only one bus stop for Ravello, just outside the pedestrian tunnel which leads to the main square.
