travelling to Pompeii from Sant Agnello

Anyone have any suggestions about best way to visit Pompeii from Sant Agnello?

Is it easiest by train, or is it worthwhile going on an organised trip?

Public transport in the area is very good, but one organised tour I recommend is the Amalfi Drive, it is so beautiful, and worth the coach fare to see it in comfort,

St Agnello is only one stop down from Sorrento on the Circumvesuviana, so all the stuff you could see from Sorrento can be seen from Sant'Agnello.

ruins

Pompeii 30 min

Hercualneum 40 min

Torre Annunziata (Oplontis)

Naples

5 min to Sorrento

Capri

Positano
