Supermarkets open on Sunday

Hi, we're arriving on Sunday at Beziers airport at 10.00 a.m. on a self catering holiday. Could anyone recommend a large supermarket close to the airport, where we can stock up? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi

generally large supermarkets are closed on Sundays in France. Smaller shops, supermarkets and street markets may be open until 12:30 .

I'd look out for a local Champion or Intermarche where you can buy basic things to see you through to Monday. Alternatively eat out on Sunday, and take a hot croissant for breakfast on Monday morning on the way to the supermarket !

The Hyper Champion at Villeneuve les Beziers - between the airport and Beziers - is open until 12.30 on Sunday mornings. If you are driving into Bez from the airport you can't fail to see it!
