Paris, Honfleur & Mont St. Michel

We will be leaving Paris (by car) in the am of September 7 to drive to Bayeaux that evening, with a short visit to Honfleur on the way. The next morning we plan on a brief visit to Omaha Beach in the morning and then driving to Mont. St. Michel where we will spend the afternoon before driving to Ambois to spend the night. Is this timeframe realistic or crazy? Any suggestions?

While it's a bit of a long drive to Amboise, I'd say you'll be fine.....if you don't just linger in beautiful Honfleur.

The OP isn't going to Honfleur on the day he/she's going to Amboise. He/she's trying to fit in Omaha Beach, le Mont-St-Michel, and a drive to Amboise on a single day. I wouldn't attempt that.

A brief visit to Omaha beach won't tell you much about d-day and the batle of normandy. The whole zone is 75 miles wide. Adding on MSM and Amboise is a bit optomisitic.

I think we will just spend the night in MSM and leave for Ambois the next morning. Not quite so much of a rush. Thanks for your input.

Just back from similar itinerary, arrived early at car park for MSM and glad we did, finished by late morning as the rush came, drove to st Marlo and then to Amboise it is a strong drive, could not have done it without" Fifi" (our gps) previously setup. Weather was great hope the same 4 u we spent 2 days in Normandy, Bayeaux was fun.
