Train or shuttle -

Which is the easiest way to travel from CDG airport to Amiens, train or shuttle/taxi, and wondering what the difference in cost is for friend and self in mid April. Not sure where to catch the train from. Not a seasoned traveller

You can take a train from CDG (Terminal 2) to Haute Picardie TGV station, from where there is a bus run by the railway to Amiens. See www.capitainetrain.com

So far as I know, there is no shuttle. A taxi would cost over €250.

If the timings via TGV Haute Picardie do not work for you, there are not a huge number of thrain that stop there each day, the "ordinary" trains to Amiens leave from Paris Gare du Nord which you can get to direct on a RER train from the airport.
