Looking for a guide, sort of.

Hi, everyone. Four of us are planning to walk a small segment of the Chemin de Saint Jacques later this year - roughly between Poitiers and Saintes. We will be staying in hotels, not in pilgrim hostels. We are looking for a very reliable guide with a car who can pick up our suitcases every morning, take them to the next hotel for us, and ensure that the suitcases are secured with the hotel staff there. We would also like this person to give us some tips on the region during our visit. Any recommendations? Thanks very much!

You should contact the tourist offices in the towns you are visiting to see if there is someone offering this service. The Abbaye at St Jean D'Angeley may be able to help with info as its one of the places you will pass through. The sncf website has details of luggage forwarding services if the town you are walking to has a station. Sorry its not much help.
