Places to stay in Vevey that are clean but reasonable?

Has anyone found a fairly reasonable place to stay in Vevey that is clean and welcoming? Thanks ! CR

Hi CARCC,

A friend of mine stayed in Hotel Negociants and liked it. It's a 3-star, sits right in the middle of town, and is about 10-15 minutes from the train station by foot. However, it has a restaurant at the bottom, and it'll be noisy in summer when the windows are open.

Have fun!

I stayed in a B&B in Blonay a village in the hills behind Vevey. If you want more details PM me.

The Hotel Negociants is in the front of the railway station just to the left.

There is also the Hotel de Familie part of which forms the railway station.

Last time we stayed at Hotel Les Negociants in Vevey they were far from welcoming!

Seems like canswiss got the same treatment.
