First time skiers

Good evening,

We are a group of three females who have booked flights to Geneva in March 2018.

Two of us have never skied before but one has.

We arrive on a Saturday afternoon and at the moment plan to hire a car to drive to Morzine, where we hope to arrive early evening.

We would like to take ski lessons on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday before returning to the airport on Tuesday evening to drop of our hire car before staying overnight in an airport hotel as we have a 7am flight home.

We need accommodation, ski lesson and ski hire recommendations and any other recommendations that people would like to offer.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

In addition to any responses you might get here you might find that most, if not all, of your questions can be answered by looking at the Morzine tourist office website.

Try New generation or Esf for lessons. the ESF office is right near the Plenny lifts just up from the bus stop, English speaking instructors. they meet at the bottom of the Plenny slopes right outside the Hotel Tremplin.

New generation meeting point is at the top of the Plenny Bubble. i would recommend contacting them by email before arriving to clarify what they can offer.

Ski Hire i use FBfreeride

https://www.fbfreeride.com/index.php…

their shop is right next to the tremplin hotel and Plenny bubble, real handy for dropping of your skis after a long day skiing. you can store them over night so no need to walk across town with your boots on .

as for accommodation, try the Hotel le Tremplin hotel or

http://www.hotel-champs-fleuris.com/en/

or Hotel L'Aubergade. they are all close to the slopes so not much walking/.
