4 days skiing from St Jean D'Aulps

Group of mixed ability skiers arriving Sat 18th Jan for 3 nights in St Jean. Will be arriving in morning so skiing afternoon. Is it worth trying to get to Morzine/Avoriaz on the first day or is the small local area enough for an afternoon warm up. Where then best to head for two full days? Have skied Morzine, Les Gets and Avoriaz previously and enjoyed them all but is it worth trying to get further afield?

All advice appreciated

The area above you is definitely enough for a nice little warm up I reckon. For the days after it depends on the weather and conditions really so I'd wait until you get there. You could do Avoriaz one day and the Morzine side the next. There won't be a great difference in price.

Thanks Dia Baz. Looks like lift pass is only €12 on a Saturday at St Jean so bit of a bargain.
