Been to DLP at least 20 times before but I always have new questions each time I go!
General info first:
2 (possibly 3 of us going, all early 20's) all have been before.
Dates hoping to be: Tues 16th - Sat 20th Dec
Travelling via Eurostar (getting train to St Pancras) direct to DLP
Staying at Hotel New York
No APs but 1 considering purchasing
1 - Can you add people?
Can you add people to the room after you have booked and paid for it (I am aware that this would cost more)? My friend isn't sure if she can come with us yet but 2 of us want to go for definite. Can I book the hotel (New York for 4night in Dec) and then add her onto the room in say 2-3 months time?
I am concerned that when I try to add her on they will charge a lot more! The current deal is Winter Offer with 2 days and nights free so I want to make the most of that deal.
2 - Eurostar
When do the Eurostar tickets go on sale.for Dec? I know phoning is better from reading otjer posts but has anyone booled Dec before and knows?
3 - Annual Pass
Is it better value for me to get an annual pass? Will it give us a discount on the hotel price ontop of the 2 nights and days free deal.or will that replace it? I buy a lot of merchandise so if I got the approx £160 top of the range pass I would get 20% off things. I wont be spending £800 on merchandise/food so I wont make the full price back on that so I am wondering if I will save on the hotel?
I have heard rumour that you can add an annual passholder to your room for approx 30euro on arrival. Is that true?
4 - Dates
Are the dates I have chosen good ones? I know its hard to say on this! But we have chosen the week that should be the last week of term for most UK schools so we are hoping it'll be quieter but still Christmassy. I want to have a Saturday in ther to go to Pueblo trading post. Would Tues-Sat or Wed-Sun be better? I am worried about direct Eurostar trains too.
5 - Pin Events
As there is Christmas and New Year will there be a pin event/night/day a bit before Christmas? When we are there?
Thanks for reading! I know its a lot so I really appreciate any advice and help!
