We're in Disney!! Am planning on following in figgy's footsteps and doing a mini round up on each day then a full TR when home .
So we arrived in London yesterday and went on the London eye, definitely recommend it: stayed in royal scot travelodge, staff great and v close to kings cross.
This morning we got the 1015 Eurostar from at pancras and were in standard premier - me, dh and 7yo ds and 3yo dd. we were lucky we got 4 seats all to ourselves. Lovely breakfast on board too.
Arrived at 2 and go bus to SL - room is lovely with view of panormagique and v central.
Walked into parks with a yummy stop at EofS and a trip into the Lego store where ds would happily spend all week. Quick play with bubbles where a man was performing on the stage outside the Disney store then in to DP.
Dc were desperate to go to Alice's maze so we did that then dh took the kids to IASW whilst I got a spot for the parade at about 445pm. As soon as I left dd with dh I saw belle, Cinderella and Ariel but never mind.
Got a spot just down from cadets corner, near the lion king floral display. A lot of pushing a shoving going on I have to say, lots of people smoking and flicking ash too. Little girl asmr and smacked ds in the face As soon as he arrived - was so cross! Grandparents did nothing.
Parade was brilliant , dd delighted to see Anna and Elsa and tinker bell and ds loved the mad hatter.
After the parade we had a quick dinner in cadets corner - got a table outside but people next to us smoked like chimneys the whole time,.
After this we went for a walk in frontier land then into the Indian play area - kids love it here so stayed until almost 9pm.
Then went to the shop in the station just as it was evacuated for a bomb alert! Unattended baggage I think but they did a controlled explosion apparently.
So now just back and kids sound asleep and don't think ill be far behind!
