Disneyland Paris places to stay

Can anyone recommend a place to stay near Disneyland Paris please? We are looking to fly and drive, or cross at the ferry. Is there any caravan parks or B&Bs nearby? Trying to avoid the cost of the park hotels.

Hi HolidayHen. When are you thinking of going? This can make a massive difference to price as going Jan to March can give such good prices when staying onsite that it wouldn't work out much cheaper to stay offsite.

When staying in one of Disney's hotels, you get accommodation, breakfast and park tickets for each day of your stay. If staying offsite (which really works out cheaper if you are going at peak times and have annual passes) you have to buy your tickets separately which can be very expensive. But as I said, it varies wildly depending on the time of year.

The most popular place to stay when staying off site is Val d'Europe, it's a relatively safe place to stay, has a massive shopping mall and sea life centre and is only a 2 minute train journey to Disneyland. We stayed there last summer holidays (we have annual passes) and the price we paid for seven nights there wouldn't even have got is three nights on site!

I am trying to persuade my sister to go and found 2 adults, 2 children in Santa Fe in November for £500 and that's Monday-Friday which I think is great, so might be worth a check as jofar said.

Thank you, that's really helpful. Unfortunately we will be going peak time as we are bound by the school holidays.

Hi,

There are quite a few options for staying offsite with or without a car. If not driving there it is important to make sure you book somewhere that has regular transport to & from the parks, and not too isolated. We have had a lot of previous threads on this subject but it helps if you say how many people, and whether you prefer self catering or hotel.

There are some threads about campsites for DLP in our top questions.

Some Offsite selected hotels and adagio self catering Aparthotel can be booked as a package with park tickets with Disney or with / without park tickets independently on their own websites or sites like Expedia, hotels.com, Ebookers etc. search Disneyland Paris on Trivago or Hotels Combined.

I have an annual passport and now find it cheaper to stay offsite at HiPark serris rather than a resort hotel.

I can find some previous threads when I am home on computer, not on iPhone.
