Farmers markets & seafood markets

Hello! I will be staying for a week in a home at Kapalua. Are there any farmers markets I should check out? (Caveat: I won't be there to attend any Saturday markets -- arriving too late for that.)

Also, any fresh seafood vendors you like? Or any other don't-miss food vendors?

Many thanks.

Welcome to Trip Advisor!

Head down to Honokowai neighbourhood and find the Farmers' Market there. It runs on Wednesday as well. And you have to get the lilikoi cream cheese! It's around the 3600 block of Lower Honoapiilani Highway.

Another yummy item is the huli huli chicken! You can get that in Kihei, north end of town by the green church. He is there on Wednesdays as well.

Fish tacos are a must. If you find yourself in Kihei, do try them at Coconuts. There are places to buy them up in West Maui as well.

Hula Pie! Got to get your Hula Pie! And shave ice. Ululani's is the best by most people's opinion. Make sure you get the ice cream on the bottom.

I'll let others add their favourites, except for Honolulu cookies! Can be purchased at the airport, or at Whaler's Village.

Well, yes. Check out the farmers market in Honokawai. On the lower road right across the street from the beach park. Father down the road is the Fish Market which has great fresh fish and also serves fish tacos, plate lunch etc.

Fish Market Maui in Honokawai , just south of you,is great for fresh fish for the grill. Not at all cheap but worth it. There is also a nice farmer's market/grocery on the lower road too. I think the outside market is open Monday, Weds and Friday.

Lilikoi is passion fruit. YUM! If you see anything with lilikoi, get it! The bakeries use it in their wonderful delicacies as well.
