Hi me and a dear friend will be arriving at shannon airport june the first our plan in 2nights in doolin at the half door b&b on to dingle 1night at dingle bay hotel on to kenmare for 2 nights at virginias guest house 2 nights at bunnratty castle hotel on the sixth we will be going to a elton john concert and the last night in town a midevil banquet at bunnratty castle my question is what is the best way to go from kenmare to limerick? thank you for any advice on this matter!

if you look up www.theaa.com and you will find a route planner at the heading leisure & travel.

this site is very good for most irish roads

Just generally, people driving from Kenmare to Limerick, for non-scenic purposes would go Kenmare-Kilgarvan-Killarney(bypass) Castleisland, Abbeyfeale, Newcastlewest-Limerick

Should take just over 2 hours.

Most route-planning systems will take you Kenmare-Molls Gap-Killanrney, which is scenic but mountainous road and may be slower if you get stuck behind a tourbus.
