Gets 4 out of 5 stars after 16 reviews so it sounds like its worth visiting. There is a deal on http://www.mad4deals.com/s/3554 for entry tickets at the moment too if you are planning on going.

amazing, enlightening, and heart breaking....the exhibits are great....we spent several hours there and it was well worth the time....

With regards to how long the visit will take. It depends on your interest in the area of Irish Famine and Emigration. If you have just a passing interest in the subject, then allocate one hour to visit. If you are very interested, then allocate one more hour. There is a lot of reading to be done during the visit.
