Dingle to Galway

I remember someone on this forum talking about a nice route along the coast from Dingle to Galway drawn up by a fellow poster named Beani (or something similar). We are traveling to Ireland in May and I would love to see this post if someone saved it.

One of these days I will post my trip plans to run the logistics by all of you experts.

Thank you.

1. Re: Dingle to Galway

Hi there, I'm Bean. The route I would have suggested it to travel up to Tarbert and get the ferry across to Killimer in Clare www.shannonferries.com and then it is possible to travel up the Clare Coast to Galway. It would take a day or most of, but you could take in some nice places on the way:

Tralee - Tralee-Blennerville Railway

Ballybunion Beach (town ain't nice)

The whole West Clare coast including Lahinch and the Cliffs of Moher.

Hope this is what you are looking for.

Take Care.
