What are the Options for Going out on a Head Boat

This is for the more up-to-date Topsail "experts". I am here now-and just watched a Head Boat head down the Sound, but couldn't see the boat name with my "old eyes".

What are the current options for going out Ocean Fishing from Topsail Island? Is Vonda Kay still around? Who should we contact.

Thanks!

The Vonda Kay is still in business but the last I knew there was talk taht it would be based out of Wrightsville Beach and not Topsail. I'll have to look into that further.

There is a head boat in Topsail Beach by the Assembly Building called Queen Jean that goes out for half and full day trips.

East Coast Sports in Surf City has fishing charters and I've seen signs popping up for Fish On fishing charters. While head boat choices are limited, there are quite a few charters out of Sneads Ferry and Topsail but I'm not familiar with most of them. Googling Topsail fishing charters brings up quite a few.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
