Doolin B&B near pubs and good for eldery walker?

I see so many great looking places but can't figure geography too well on them. Was recommend to stay near McDermott's and McGann's for the great music. Want something not too stark because it's a special trip. And not some steep climb home!

Looked into Roadhouse, Riverfield, SeaView, Tridoon.

Any comments- I guess there are no cabs is that right? Thanks

Doolin is a long, ribbon-like village. You can easily walk from one end to the other and nothing is very far away. Doolin village has three main areas - Fisherstreet, closest to the harbour, Doolin in the middle and Roadford at the opposite end. O'Connor's is at the Fisherstreet end of the village while McGann's and McDermott's are at Roadford end. Most of the village is on one, fairly flat level so no need for any climbs.

One word of warning - Doolin is pretty much a cash economy but there's no ATMs in the village. The nearest are in the Cliffs of Moher Visitors' Centre (about 3-4km away) or Ennistymon (about 16km away). You might want to get 'cashed up' en route to Doolin.

If walking is an issue - you should either locate yourself near O'Connor's, on Fisher Street, or at the otherend of town, which is actually Roadford, where McGann's and McDermott's are. There are several nice B&B's right near McGann's and McDermott's - with easy walking distance and without any significant "climbs."
