Does anyone know if there is a card (like a London travel card) avail for all transport in venice so we do not have to pay over and over. We are going tommorrow so we would have to buy it there?

There are plenty of older threads on this subject that you may wish to retrieve by using the 'search' function on this forum.

You'll find the information you need at www.actv.it/english/navigazione.php… (look at 'TOURIST TRAVEL CARDS'). This covers water and land buses in the greater Venice area, but does NOT cover travel to and from Quarto d'Altino, which is done by train.

Vaporetto Pass's are worth while, as one off rides are €6.50,

14,00 € - 12- hour

16,00 € - 24 hour

21,00 € - 36 hour

26,00 € - 48 hour

31,00 € - 72- hour

They can be brought at the Airport, but make sure they are not validated till you need to use them,as time starts from Validation,
