Hello searched around and I found the comment below

on your hotel.

Try searching in the search box and put in your hotel name. There is one other comment on your hotel as well.

My partner and I spent 2 fabulous weeks in Rhodes durung June.

We stayed at The Lindos Memories,

We booked with Thomas Cook Select.

PROS:

Fantastic location

Wonderful pool area

Lovely staff

Decent breakfasts (but fresh orange juice cost extra if you wanted it)

Good ambience

Nice Greek Evenings once a week with buffet and Greek entertainment

Only 7 euro taxi ride into Lindos Village (fab selection of Restaurants including The Lindian Indian and a brilliant Italian for when you want a change from Greek food)

CONS;

Nobody on 24 hour Reception when we first arrived in the middle of the night.

Quite scarey!

Several people experienced overbooking and had to stay elsewhere for at least their first night.

Expensive

Rather small rooms.

Ours had no bath to our surprise, only a shower.

Ground floor rooms on one side of the Hotel enclosed by railings.

Rather claustrophobic

Many people asked to change room.

Very few rooms with full sea view, despite Hotel being right on the beach.

Awful Evening Meals, with limited, repetative choices on menu,

Wine over-priced.

Lots of noisy children staying at The Hotel during our 2 week stay.

This came as a shock to us after reading numerous reviews stating the Hotel was not really suitable for children,

However, there is a small childrens play area/pool.

Laundry;

My dress was laundered and when it was returned had shrunk by about 8 inches.

When I challenged this I was told the care lable was adhered to and I could not prove what length the dress was originally!

The Hotel were only prepared to reimburse the cost of the Laundry bill, despite ruining my dress.

I will be persuing this matter now I am back home, but would not recommend using this service.

I have NEVER experienced this sort of problem at any other Hotel I've stayed at, and I stay at dozens.

Here is the other one

Lindos: Lindian Village: "beautiful hotel"

July 22, 2005: A TripAdvisor Member, lincolnshire, england Compare prices with:

I would like to mark this hotel higher but cant justify it as it would only be done on the standard of the buildings.

When we first arrived we were slightly concerned as the entrance seemed very unkept but as soon as we set foot inside we were greeted with a warm welcome and a cool glass of fresh orange juice which set our minds at ease. The reception was stunning with numerous fancy chandelears, after this we were then given a tour of the hotel grounds in a golf buggy before being escorted to our appartment. We chose a jacuzzi suite which met our expectations we each also had individual sinks and a seperate bath and shower. The beach is a shingle beach and not that good but walk around the corner and theres a sand beach bout half a mile down. The archetecture is amazing and the finishing touches are all there with the look of the hotel but there are several letdowns.

We were half board and there was only 1buffett place (i cant bring myself to call it a restaurant-more like a cafiteerier!) we could eat in, the food was poor and very repetitve. The other 3 restaurants were exspensive and you were looking around 100euros a head for a mea.l We wouldn't have minded paying for a decent meal but felt begrudged as we thought the buffet restaurant should have been of the same standard.

Water was 6euros for a litre, in the supermarket you could get 6 for this, a jack daniel and coke was 8euros we felt like we were being ripped off. After speaking to another couple we came to the conclusion it felt like prices were extorsionate and that after paying alot of money for the holiday you didnt expect it to be this exspensive on resort.

Another let down was entertainment. There wasnt any! In the evenings a bar disco opened and at the most there was 6 people in there which included me my boyfriend another couple and 2 bar staff!

I would have loved to have recommended this place but cant bring myself to do so it really needs to focus on entertainment as you are 5kilometers away from anywhere and there is nothing to do there, it also needs to bring prices down. Alot of people were even getting taxis 5km to closest villages and supermarkets and coming back with alcohol and food.

Hello,

I just returned from the village.

The tructure is wonderful, really!

Even if the rooms are a little bit small.

Buldings, pools ect are very well done.

Only the beach is not a sandy beach, but you know it.

It is for sure one of the most beautyful village on the isle.

Four stars !

Well... all wonderful??

NO! NO!

The service is terrible ! Really terrible.

Everyday a prolem, with electricity, beach towels not provided, etc.

Ok, you are on vacation and you can live with them but ... this issus are issues of a 2 stars and not a deluxe village.

And again, the professionality of the staff is very very pour.

It's like they have seen people on the road and said "como on guys, you now stay here at the lobby, you provides towels, you check the minibar ... " perhaps in this way the service could be better.

By the way, the village is very close to Lindos 15 euro by taxi, 15 minutes.

The restaurants:

Very good for breakfast, good for lunch at the pool, bad for dinner at the main restaurant and opened only untill 9.30 pm.

very expensive the others, avoid them !.

Overal rating:

Structure, beach, sea, place, room : 4 stars !

Sevice : 2 stars.
