Bars to visit..I need your help

Ok..Got me map, got me list of bars (thanks Babs). What I need now, is to know which ones to visit.

I'm sure the people of this forum all have there favorites.

I'm looking for livelyish and quiet

Going middle June, the rockfest will be on, so looking forward to seeing some of that.

What I'm thinking is.

Socretes..definatly

60's bar

Lindian bar?

Bar 404?

Yanni's bar

Billy's bar

Courtyard

Lindos by night.

Need help with others..please.

All good hopper, you will of course discover your own faves for lively and for chilling. Chilling definitely Rainbird and also Captains House. Yannis has to be the best for people watching, Socs, 60s, Karma for great sounds, and if you are into watching sports then you have Gorgios, Museum, Billys and Red Rose. Oh what the heck, just try em all... how long you there for?

hello, babs is spot on (she usually is). I can recommend the captains bar for a very chilled out quiet drink, which is our favourite spot for a beer and a yap!. Rainbird sounds ace too, havent had the pleasure of visiting ourselves, but plan to rectify in July. Socs is the place for music and having fun, always a good laugh in there, Alex and George behind the bar are good guys, highly recommended. The courtyard is great too.............. Rich :o)

Hi Hopper

How about giving a try to

Lindian House

Dreams

Apollo Bar

Pals

Ikon

Antika

Museum

Rainbird

Byzantium

Manolis ... or is it called Zuk or something similar now

and Sunburnt Arms.

All different types of bars for different reasons.

Give it the big wheel man ... or girl!

Would also personally recommend trying a drink on Pallas Beach at Meditteraneo before you leave the beach and head on back up to the village / your accomo. Heaven. Chilled. Dreamsville.

Hopper, Lindos isn't THAT big and every bar is in walking/staggering distance... give ALL the bars/tavernas a try.

You're bound to find somewhere you enjoy.

Everyone has different tastes.

I enjoy quiet and fun too ... depending on the mood/hangover.

My favourites are:

Socs

The Courtyard

The Rainbird

Dreams

Yannis

Bar 404

Lindos by Night

The Captain's House

... but there lots more.

Have a great time.

Thank you all.

were going for a fortnight so we should be able to get round to most of the bars. just needed to know which ones to go into first. We'll now start at the far end and work our way through.

I'd agree with most of the choices listed but you will certainly find your personal favourite over the 14 nights.

Try working your way round them all - there's a few that haven't been mentioned as well.

If you're there for the rock week Socrates bar will definitely be the busiest. You'll be struggling to get to the bar straight after the concerts. Alex and George are good at lip reading/sign language though !
