Self catering for 2 people?
Thats a lot of dosh for self catering.
Mind you I see its in their small & friendly brochure. That will add a few hundred quid
Hi take a look at the offers on the Olymic site, same dates flying a 9am self catering in Lindos from £905, for two adults for two weeks. Seems Thomsons are hiking their prices up, and they no longer offer meals on the flights.
Totally agree Trish. We've booked with Olympic for 5th September, staying in the village. £900.00 for two weeks. Two years ago stayed in Pefkos. Next year, the apartments we stayed in are exclusive to Thomson and will have doubled in price. Not good. Thomson getting too greedy. Have found apartments for next year with TC for half the price. Have never booked with Olympic before, so will wait and see.
ive looked at lots of apartments some dont look that good also ive heard some bad reviews re olympic flights, self catering for two im sure you get what you get for ive not seen any as nice for the money so if its nice then i suppose you have to pay
Think its time for bed with that last post i have worked 12 hours today LOL
That's a lot, 2 weeks self cater for two!! I know its August but still, try Thomas Cook, look at Lindos View and Lindos Gardens, just as nice but not so expensive.
Cherub. Do you have to go in August? Just wondered. If you go a week or two later the prices drop a little. The weather is still gorgeous. No, you don't necessarily have to pay a lot for somewhere nice. In 2010, we paid under £700.00 for an apartment in Pefkos. It was lovely. Toaster and microwave etc. Kingsized bed. Last year in Kos, we paid under £800.00 for an apartment which had everything in the kitchen including a full sized fridge freezer. Our drinks looked lost in there lol. Also the apartments had all new furniture and beds. This was middle of September. Hope this helps :0)
Late August, daytime flights - I'd say the price is about right.
Agree with comments about Thomson getting greedy though - no inflight meals, no entertainment this year, 15 Kg allowances, etc. etc.. We've been loyal to them for circa 25 years travelling to Rhodes but will be looking elsewhere next year.
i could go at beginning of September will it still be hot, we usually go to the beach everyday so just thinking if it would be better to stay at apartments in the village with no pool not sure of any nice ones there
