Early morning arrival in Lindos - anything open?

Hi all

We will be arriving around 2am on a Thurs morning. I appreciate most places, except clubs, will be closed but is there anywhere to get water, beer etc. to take to our apartment.

We've booked a taxi transfer so maybe the taxi driver would know somewhere to stop en route?

Don't really fancy stopping at a bar or anything, just would like to get to the room & chill on the terrace but with maybe a drink or 2.

We're staying at Avli Beach on Pallas so will be walking down from the square I guess.

I could put supplies in the suitcase, or stock up at duty free, but hoped we could just get some stuff when we arrived.

Thanks :)

There's a takeaway close to the donkey station that should be open and you don't have the same licence issues in Greece so they'll sell beer as well as water, juice, etc. There's also the 24 hour kiosk that I'm guessing you'll pass on the way to Avli, basically a small shop with vending machines but they sell pretty much anything and everything in there.

Wine, spirits, cigarettes, crisps, condoms, painkillers... all the party ingredients and some you'd need the morning after, the night before ;D

Hi Marcus,

I thought that gum was very chewy - and it tasted awful.

The pizza man in the square, best takeaway pizzas ever. Especially after a good night out on the Mythos, and always open into the small hours.

Never knew there were vending machines though, where are they?

On the donkey trail past sunburnt arms then its next to the sandel shop . Basically its behind the church.
