Sevilla to Arcos de la Frontera and Puerto Santa Maria

We are in Sevilla currently and will be here until the end of March. We would like to spend a couple of days exploring both Puerto Santa Maria and Acros de la Frontera. We would spend one night in each place but need help figuring out transportation. Could we take the bus from Sevilla to Acros and then on to Puerto Santa Maria and then return by train to Sevilla? All suggestions are welcomed. Thank you.

The bus run by Los Amarillos starts from Prado de San Sebastian bus station with times on here :

Think it's a 09.30 out of Seville with arrival into Arcos after 2 hours. It goes via some interesting places and nearer to Arcos you will run through Espera and Bornos with its lake. Fare is about €10.

At Arcos bus station you have options depending on where you plan to stay. Often there is a taxi waiting or rather lurking outside but if not you can phone for one and it will arrive quickly. Or if you stay up in the old town not necessarily the Parador hotel then there is a Micro bus which runs up the climb to the top and goes every 30 minutes so do check at the bus station where buses pull in for the times of this CENTRO bus.

You can take a bus run by TG COMES from Arcos to El Puerto via Jerez. See

http://www.tgcomes.es/horarios_16.htm

probably best to travel weekdays because more options Mon-Fri.

There are more buses going to Jerez bus station next to the train station most run by Los Amarillos.

Clearly a train from El Puerto to Seville is easiest. Don't forget at Seville you have two stations which could be useful if using the MD Media Distancia train. San Bernardo and Santa Justa.
