I'm looking at this island for my honeymoon, but I have read that you depart very very early for your flight home and spend hours waiting at Male.

Could anyone please share their experience?

Many thanks

Well that really depends on the time your international flight leaves and the time your seaplane leaves the island, which is specific to the day and the amount of people.

So yes it could happen, and alternately you might be fine.

Just don't book a night international departure flight if you are worried about it. The earlier in the day, the less likelihood of a wait, right?

can you get to this island by ferry or speedboat? Don't want to pay the high price of seaplane.

Local ferry boats don't stop at resort islands. No speedboat transfer to Angaga - as Paul says seaplane only.
