Just back last week. Not much really as far as snack food. Daytime buffets always were grilling hamburgers and pork chops. Some days had cheese sticks, always had french fries. Usually had pizza or sometype of spaghetti. Mexican food, usually chicken or beef fajitas each day. Ice cream was good. No snacks in the room. Seemed to have lots of more fancy type food, example fish and meats with different sauces. Did not order room service, nothing really appealing, did have hamburger on menu.

We were in a platinum 1 bedroom (1534) but we were upgraded on arrival. Did not get butler service since did not pay for the upgrade. Drinks were strong, they had everything we requested but we were not too picky. Wines just requested a merlot and both times were good, never saw a wine list. I have been to a few other AI's and they all seemed to be stingy with the alcohol, at el Cid they definately do not skimp on the alcohol.
