7 Days and Counting. What Do the Experts Say We Do?

Hello All,

We are going to Puerto Morelos in 7 days for a wedding. The wedding is two days after we get there so we will have 4 days for activities. What should we do?

We are staying at the Ocean Coral & Turquesa.

Thanks All,

Chris

Make sure to do the snorkel trip out to the reef from the main pier in Puerto Morelos. It's great!

The Crococun zoo is a big hit with kids. It's also interesting to go out the Ruta de Cenotes and check out the cenotes. I second the recommendation to go out to the reef with a guide.

Can you tell me more about the Ruta de Cenotes? Is this along the main road in PM? Would a taxi driver know it if I asked? What is the taxi fare to there? How many cenotes?

The ruta de cenotes is on the west side of the highway. It's the main road to Leona Vicario. I think there are about 5 different groups of cenotes out there. Some of them are Boca de Puma, Cenote Lucero Verde, and Tres Bocas. The cab drivers know the area. I would guess the fare would be about $10, but it would depend how far west you go.
